Makita-Built Motor Engineered for Versatile PowerThe BFS450Z has a powerful Makita-built four-pole motor that delivers 4,000 RPM for drywall and framing applications. The silent clutch in forward mode uses higher durability materials that increase efficiency and decrease driver noise. The rugged aluminum dust-proof depth adjustment cone removes easily for bit changes, and the extra-fine depth adjustment ring has 60 detent positions.

The BFS450Z weighs just 4.2 pounds (with battery, sold separately) with a more compact design at 10-1/8 inches long and an ergonomic shape that fits like a glove for reduced operator fatigue. The BFS450Z is also equipped with a built-in L.E.D. light to help illuminate the work surface.

About Makita's 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Tool Series
As one of the pioneers driving the cordless tool revolution, Makita changed the game with its breakthrough 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Series. Makita also offers a Rapid Automotive Charger for 18V LXT and 18V Compact Lithium-Ion batteries that plugs into 12V DC sockets equipped in most automobiles and trucks for added mobility.
